India beat West Indies to reach semi-finals

India's comprehensive 8-wicket win yesterday, over West Indies at Kennington Oval takes them to the top of points table in Group B, meaning that India vs Pakistan game will be a dead rubber on Saturday, June 15 at Edgbaston, Birmingham.


South Africa and West Indies will now fight for that elusive semi-final spot after India became the first team to book a semis berth in the 2013 ICC Champions Trophy.


Ravindra Jadeja was the man of the match for his 5 for 36.


Overall it was a very good team performance, WI got off to a very good start, they seemed like they would get 280 runs or so but the Indian bowlers did very well after that.
