Champions Trophy; England frustrated by Cardiff rain

Sunday, 16 June 2013 - 19:35

Rain delayed the start of England's final Champions Trophy group game against New Zealand at Cardiff.

Knowing a win will secure their place in the semi-finals, England were asked to bat after they lost the toss.

However, rain prevented play getting under way with no improvement in the weather.

James Tredwell replaced fellow off-spinner Graeme Swann, who has a calf injury.
