Jaffna-KKS+railway+line+opens+after+25+years
After a lapse of 25 years, the reconstructed Northern railway line from Jaffna to Kankesanthurai was commissioned yesterday by inaugurating the north bound Yal Devi train service up to Kankesanthurai.

Transport Minister Kumara Welgama inaugurated the Jaffna to Kankesanthurai train service with the departure of the Yal Devi train from the KKS railway station at 10.22 a.m yesterday.
