Part of an aircraft falls on to Thalangama school ground

A part of a light aircraft fell onto the Thalangama M.D.H. Jayawardena Primary School ground this morning.

According to Thalangama Police, the part of the aircraft fell at 7.20 this morning, and no one was injured following the incident.

The part which fell is 2 feet in length and 1.5 feet in breadth, and will be handed over to Civil Aviation Authority for further investigations.
