Colombo Royal, Gampaha Ratnawali, Kurunegala Maliyadewa Boys and Girls schools win 1st Places in AL Exam

Dasun Oshada Jayasinghe from Royal College Colombo, ranked island 1st  in mathematics stream at the recent GCE Advanced Level examination, where 32, 393 students sat for the exam in the stream.

 

Jeewa Nayanamali of the Kurunegala Maliyadeva Girls College ranked island 1st in the Arts stream where 99, 034 students sat for the exam from the Arts stream.

 

Thepuli Umesha ranked 1st from the Bio science stream where 46, 581 students sat for the examination from the stream.  

 

F.M Akeel Mohammed of the Maliyadeva boys College, ranked island first from the Commerce stream. 

 

The number of students who sat for the exam from the commerce stream was 60, 178.

 

Shanaka Anuradha Samarakoon of the St. Thomas College Matale secured first place in the Engineering technology stream while Navodini Marasinghe of Bandarawela Dharmapala Maha Vidyalaya secured island first place in the Bio technology stream. 

 

Meanwhile Buddhika Chathuranga Karunaratne of Seevali Central College Ratnapura obtained island first place in the Common and other subjects stream
