Police investigations have revealed that the cause for the clash between two groups of students from Ananda and Nalanda Colleges was a relationship with a female.
Eight students were injured, and two buses, one van and a motor car were damaged in the clash that occurred yesterday.
Borella and Maradana police had arrested 15 students in connection with the clash.
Ten students arrested by Maradana police were released when they were produced before Maligakanda Magistrate later in the evening.
The other 5 students arrested by Borella police were produced before Hulftsdorp Magistrate Court today.
They were each released on a 100,000 rupees personal bail.
