Paddy prices increased by 5 rupees

Minister of Agriculture P. Harrison said that the government has decided to increase the certified price of 1 kilogram of paddy by 5 rupees.

Accordingly the certified price for a kilo of paddy will increase from 41 rupees to 46 rupeesExpressing his views at a function held in Karunagala today, the minister further noted that one kilogram of naadu which was 38 rupees will increase up to 43 rupees.
