24 killed at a rally attended by the Afghan President in a bomb explosion

A suicide bomb attack targeting an election rally held in the country of Parwan close to the Capital of Afghanistan, Kabul which the President of the country also attended, has killed 24 persons.

Foreign media reported that the attack took place a few minutes before President Ashrof Ghani was due to address the rally.

In another suicide bomb attack which took place near the American Embassy in the capital Kabul three persons were killed.

It is said that the Taleban organization has accepted the responsibility of the attack.
