A stock of war equipment found from a jungle in Mullaitivu

A stock of war equipment suspected to have been buried by the LTTE was found from a jungle near the Mullaitivu – Nayaru – Kohombagas junction.

The Police Special Task Force said that this equipment included 4 mortar bullets of the 81mm type, three T-82 type hand grenades, 350 M.P.M.G. bullets and a T-56 magazine without bullets.

Steps were taken on the orders of the Magistrate of Mullaitivu to destroy this stock of war equipment.
