Navy apprehends three illegal fishermen

The Sri Lanka Navy has arrested three persons who were engaged in illegal fishing in Puttalam.

The fishermen who were using illegal means of fishing were arrested by the Sri Lanka Navy during a search carried out yesterday.

According to the Navy, these fishermen are residents of Kalpitiya, aged between 31 and 35 years.
