Prices at the Tea Auction falls - BOPF down by around Rs 50

The latest tea auctions this week saw a drop in prices for all types of tea.

At the third auction for May held during last Tuesday and Wednesday, 5.4 million kilograms of tea was presented for auction and the average price received was Rs 765.50.

Similarly, high-grade teas fetched an average price of Rs. 665 and 69 cents while BOPF prices dropped about 30-50 rupees.
