Train+services+on+northern+line+disrupted
Train services on the northern line have been disrupted after the Sri Devi Intercity knocked down and killed a wild elephant around 3.45 am today (09), says the Railway Control Room.

The train on its way from Kankesanthurai to Colombo Port hit the jumbo between Mankulam and Puliyankulam.

Bringing the train back on track is underway.
