Traditional coconut oil producers complains over 2016 Gazette

The All Ceylon Traditional Coconut Oil Producers' Association has stated that they have faced a problem in selling their products due to the gazette notification issued in 2016 ordering to mention 'blended oil' in the production of coconut oil.

Speaking at a media briefing held in Colombo yesterday (15), its convener Buddhika de Silva said that the government should cancel the gazette notification and take necessary steps to sell local coconut oil products.
