Four newly-appointed Sri Lankan diplomats paid a courtesy call on prime minister Mahinda Rajapaksa at Temple Trees yesterday (17) prior to their departures.

The premier extended his best wishes to permanent representative at the UN in New York Mohan Peiris, permanent representative at the UN at Geneva C.A. Chandraprema, ambassador to China Dr. Palitha Kohona and ambassador to Japan Sanjiv Gunasekara.
