Covid-19 closes Hatton’s public marketplace (video)

The public marketplace in Hatton was closed today (25) after finding a Covid-19 positive fish vender.

Police and urban council officials took the step while PHIs sent the vender for treatment and his family for quarantine.

He had bought fish from the fish market at Peliyagoda.

Following information that he had visited several hotels in the town, they too, were closed, reports the Hiru News correspondent.
