Bloemendhal Sanka's wife & son, arrested

The wife and a son of a member of an organised crime gang, 'Bloemendhal Sanka' were arrested in Pamunugama, Ja-Ela today (26).

Senior DIG in charge of the Western Province Deshabandu Tennakoon stated that 10 grams of heroin and Rs. 2 million were found in the possession of the suspect.

Investigations have revealed that Rs. 8 million has been withdrawn from her bank account as well.

The Police state that the money has been given to 'Bloemendhal Sanka', who is currently released on bail, and that they suspect that he had obtained the money to go abroad.
