CEB instructed not to disconnect electricity based on monthly bills - Minister of Power and Energy

Minister of Power and Energy Dullas Alahapperuma has instructed the CEB not to disconnect electricity connection based on the monthly electricity bills of houses and institutions in the country, including the Gampaha District, where the curfew is in effect.

The Ministry announced that all steps will be taken to strengthen the national grid with uninterrupted power supply and provide relief to the affected consumers in the face of the ongoing coronavirus eradication campaign in the country.
