New app compiling information on COVID presented to President

The Western Provincial Health Service Office has launched a new application (App) that would efficiently compile the necessary information required by the health authorities and other parties involved in the operation to curb the spread of coronavirus. 

The new app was presented to President Gotabaya Rajapaksa when the COVID-19 Prevention Task Force convened at the Presidential Secretariat today morning (29). 

The new app will be able to retrieve vital data, including information on COVID infections, associates, quarantine, PCR testing services, observations, decisions, and areas closest to the infected. 

The President pointed out that the application should be designed so that updates on the latest developments is always available.
