Health Ministry Media Spokesperson, Dr. Jayaruwan Bandara has stated that there is a risky period ahead as a decline in the number of coronavirus patients is not observed.

He stated the above while joining the 'Pathare Visthare' programme aired on Hiru TV.

Dr. Bandara stated that Chinese experts will be brought down to the country to repair the PCR machines that are currently out of order.

Speaking further, Dr. Bandara added that the quarantine process is not an imprisonment, but a process carried out for the safety and benefit of the society.
