Police have opened several phone lines for the public to provide information with regard to the woman who had fled the IDH while being treated for Covid-19

After releasing her picture to the media, the police media division said information could be given via 119, 0112 433333 or 0112 421111.

Three police teams are searching for the 25-year-old who had fled the IDH along with her infant son two nights ago while being treated for Covid-19.

The child, aged 2 ½ years, was found yesterday at the woman’s home in Eheliyagoda.

She had been admitted to the IDH while being imprisoned for suspected drug dealing.
