Free sanitary napkins for women in Scotland

The Scottish Government has decided to provide free sanitary pads.

Scotland became the first country to provide free sanitary napkins to its citizens.

According to foreign reports, a bill introduced by the country's parliamentarian Monica Lebanon has been passed unanimously.

The Scottish Government estimates that the bill would cost $ 32 million a year to provide sanitary napkins and period materials free of charge.
