Citing two unidentified Japanese intelligence sources, Reuters News Agency reported that China has provided North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and his family with an experimental coronavirus vaccine.

A North Korea expert at the Center for the National Interest think tank in Washington, Harry Kazianis stated that the Kim family and several other high-ranking officials were vaccinated.

Kazianis further stated that it is unclear which company had provided the vaccine and whether it had proven to be safe.
