Navy ready to face Cyclonic storm 'Burevi'

Capt. Indika Silva, Media Spokesperson of the Navy states that the Navy has prepared a special program to deal with Cyclone Burevi.

Speaking to the Hiru news team he said that two naval vessels anchored in the Trincomalee harbour were diverted to the Hambantota harbour for security.

It is also reported that heavy rains are expected in many areas including the Eastern Province due to the effects of Hurricane Burevi.
