The second person who was trapped in the mudslide near a construction site on the Kalapaluwawa - Aggona road in Rajagiriya has also been rescued.

The police stated that the condition of the two rescued persons were not serious.

This morning, while preparing to repair a wall, the embankment had collapsed and two workers who were engaged in the construction was buried inside the soil.
