Protest+staged+over+Rs+1%2C000+minimum+wage+for+estate+workers
The Movement for Plantation Workers' Wage staged a protest at Malliappuwa Junction in Hatton this morning demanding an increase in the daily wage to Rs. 1,000 as promised.

The protesters point out that no final agreement was reached at the recent discussion held in Colombo regarding the increase in the wages of estate workers.
