Easter Attacks: Kochchikade attacker's father further remanded

The father of Alawdeen Ahmed who carried out the suicide bombing at St. Anthony's Church in Kochchikade has been remanded till the 2nd of next month.

This was when the case was taken up today before Colombo Chief Magistrate Mohamed Mikhail.

The father of the person who attacked the Kochchikade church was arrested by the CID on charges of aiding and abetting terrorism.

The Chief Magistrate ordered the Prisons Department to produce him in court on the 2nd of next month.
