The Ministry of Health stated that in accordance with the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Health on January 6, paid travelers other than business and diplomatic passport holders will also be permitted to travel in line with relevant tourism activities.

Accordingly, foreign passport holders with residence visas, dual citizens and Sri Lankan citizens traveling with a foreign country passport holder spouse or close relative will also be allowed to use the designated travel route.

However, it is mandatory to make a reservation for a safe and guaranteed 14-day stay at the hotel, at which point a paid Coronavirus test is mandatory.
