The No. 05 Fighter Jet Squadron of the Sri Lanka Air Force, which made a unique contribution to ending the 30 Year War, celebrated its 30th anniversary.

Meanwhile, an air show was launched at the Ratmalana Airport recently under the patronage of Minister Prasanna Ranatunga to mark the re-launch of the Colombo Flying Club after 35 years with the aim of creating awareness and excitement among young aviation fans.
