Public health inspectors say that the coronavirus is not under control in the country.
Its chairman Upul Rohana said this while participating in an awareness program for the representatives of the Festival Owners and Catering Suppliers Association held in Ja-Ela.
He further stated that there is no data analysis on the spread of coronavirus in the country.
The vaccine was administered at 5 centers today under the vaccination program for people in the Colombo municipal area.
About 4500 people have been vaccinated.
Acting Minister of Health Prof. Channa Jayasumana stated that about 7400 people in the Colombo Municipal Council area have been vaccinated against Covid yesterday.
