Two and a half year old girl dies suddenly in Wilgamuwa

A two and a half year old girl who was admitted to the Matale - Wilgamuwa Hospital due to an illness has died suddenly this morning.

Wilgamuwa Police stated that the girl was admitted to the hospital at around 11.30 last night for treatment for a common cold.

The victim is a resident of the Devagiriya area in Wilgamuwa, Matale and her body has been taken to the Dambulla Hospital for an autopsy.
