Kanchana Jayaratne appointed Sri Lanka Volleyball Federation President

Kanchana Jayaratne has been unanimously elected as the 17th President of the Sri Lanka Volleyball Federation.

The relevant election was held at the Ministry of Sports this morning.

Deputy Speaker Ranjith Siyambalapitiya representing the Kegalle Volleyball Association and Kanchana Jayaratne representing the Eheliyagoda Volleyball Association had handed over nominations for the position of the President.

However, due to the withdrawal of Ranjith Siyambalapitiya's nomination paper, Kanchana Jayaratne was elected unopposed as the President of the Volleyball Federation.
