The team owners have asked the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to take steps to hold the remaining matches of the Pakistan Premier League in the United Arab Emirates. This is due to the increase in coronavirus infections in Pakistan.

The rest of the tournament is scheduled to take place from June 1 to 20.
