COVID cases in Sri Lanka increased to 121,338

With another 817 COVID-19 cases reported, including 25 cases from overseas travellers, the total number of cases in the country increased to 121,338.

The total number of infected people found today is 1889.

Currently, 18,830 infected persons are being treated in hospitals, 101,763 patients were recovered and discharged after receiving treatment.

The death toll in the country stands at 745.

Meanwhile, the Epidemiology Unit of the Ministry of Health stated that the first dose of the vaccine was given to 928,776 persons and the second dose was given to 177,235 persons so far.
