The Ministry of Health has taken steps to establish a 'Volunteer Force' with the aim of enabling health workers who are not directly involved in the prevention of COVID-19 to actively participate in such activities.

The Ministry announced that a large number of people have already agreed to this.

Arrangements have been made to seek the discretion of public or private health care workers or retirees who are interested in volunteering their time and labour.
