Army Commander General Shavendra Silva, Head of the National Operations Center for the Prevention of the spread of COVID-19 stated that the travel restrictions will be lifted on 14 June as scheduled previously.

Accordingly, the travel restrictions will be lifted at 04:00 a.m on 14 June.

The Army Commander also stated that the rumours circulating that the travel restrictions will be extended are false.
