Six+Delta+cases+identified+at+a+private+garment+factory
Following COVID tests conducted on 186 employees of a private garment factory in Lullawala road in Jamburaliya, Piliyandala, 120 employees had tested positive.

It was reported that from the 20 random samples that were sent to the University of Jayewardenepura, six samples have been identified to be of Delta variant.

The factory employs close to 1,000 people, of which about 85% live in rented accommodation, stated the health authorities.
