The strike launched by the Teachers 'Principals' Trade Unions to protest against the proposed Kotelawala University Act and to demand the elimination of salary anomalies continues for the 18th day.

The trade unions stated that they are planning to educate the parents of the students today (29).

Accordingly, an awareness program will be launched for parents from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. today.

Meanwhile, the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) stated that they support this trade union action.
