Residents of Mannar who have not received both doses of the COVID vaccine will be barred from going to sea or walking in public places from tomorrow, said Mannar Health Services Director S. Vinodhan declared.

It has been decided to check the vaccination cards at police checkpoints and fishing ports.

The increase in relations between the people of Mannar and the Indians has also contributed to this decision.
