The Presidential Task Force for a green socio-economy has decided to use the 25 years of uncultivated land owned by plantation companies for food crops.

The Government has decided to provide assistance if plantation companies take steps to cultivate food crops in the relevant lands.

If they do not take action, the Presidential Task Force for a green socio-economy has decided to identify such lands and give them to those who do not have land for cultivation.
