The Colombo Stock Exchange closed on a negative note today (11).

This was with the ASPI decreasing by 0.31% (0.31 points) ending at 9,649.26 points, while the S&P SL20 decreased by 1.19% (43.06 points) to end at 3,570.08 points.

Total turnover for the day amounted to Rs. 2.7 billion, with over 115 million shares changing hands.
