'National Medicines Regulatory Authority Act should be amended'

State Minister of Production, Supply and Regulation of Pharmaceuticals Prof. Channa Jayasumana stated that the interim report of the five-member committee appointed to inquire into the effectiveness of the National Medicines Regulatory Authority Act should be amended expeditiously.

Speaking to the media after a programme held in Colombo yesterday, he said that steps would be taken to table a copy of the interim report in Parliament in the future.
