Kayts court has released two Indian fishermen arrested for violating Sri Lankan maritime boundaries.

They had come from the Nagapattinam, India and had been fishing in the North Sea recently.

However, their fishing vessel capsized and 3 people on board fell into the sea, killing one of them.

The other two were later taken into custody by the Navy and produced before the Kayts Police.
