The Valvettithurai and Point Pedro Police stated that two unidentified bodies were found in the coastal areas of Jaffna, Point Pedro and Valvettithurai yesterday (27).

Police said that the bodies of two persons aged between 40 and 50 were found.

Police said the bodies were suspected to be those of those who died a few days ago.

The bodies have been sent to the Jaffna, Point Pedro Hospital morgue for postmortem examination, police said.

Point Pedro and Valvettithurai police are conducting further investigations.
