'Steps were taken to prevent entry of Omicron into Sri Lanka'

Minister Namal Rajapaksa stated in Parliament today that necessary measures have already been taken to prevent the entry of the new Omicron COVID variant into the country.

This was in response to a question raised by the Leader of the Opposition Sajith Premadasa.
