A tragic incident of abusing an 11-year-old girl has been reported from the Rajagiriya area.

The United Human Rights Organization has announced that the girl has been abused by a drug addict named Oshadha Nilan, a resident of Kalapaluwawa, who rose to fame via making video through a popular social media network.

It is reported that the parents of the girl are mute.

The girl was abused by a drug addict named Oshadha Nilan alias Kiri Saman and another friend of his, a 21-year-old Mohan has also reportedly abused the girl.

The suspects had befriended the girl through WhatsApp after getting to know Tik Tok on social media.

It has been revealed that Kiri Saman had taken the girl out of the house on a night last December, taken her to a party, injected her with drugs and returned home on the next day.

The girl has been taken out of the house and abused several times since then.

It has been revealed that the girl had been taken to parties organized in Kelaniya and Dehiwala and abused. As a result, the girl has been receiving treatment at the Mulleriyawa Hospital for nearly two weeks.

Preliminary investigations have revealed that two young women aged 19 and 23 were also involved in the crime.

However, the main suspects in the case, Oshadha Nilan and his accomplice were arrested on 15 January and remanded until 19 January.

The United Human Rights Organization has said that Tiktok has become a social media killer and that such tragedies are being reported on a daily basis in the country and that the authorities responsible for suspending Tiktok should take immediate action.
