Former PM Mahinda Rajapaksa in good health

Various reports were published on social media today stating that former Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa is seriously ill and he is being treated in the intensive care unit of a private hospital in Colombo.

We inquired from the former Prime Minister's Press Secretary Rohan Welivita reagrding this news and he said that there is no truth in the media reports published.

He confirmed that the former Prime Minister is in good health and is carrying out his daily duties without any hindrance.
