It has been made mandatory for the MPs of the ruling party to attend the parliamentary session day after tomorrow where the proposal to remove Janaka Rathnayake from that post of Chairman of the Public Utilities Commission the  will be debated.

Chief Government Whip Minister Prasanna Ranatunga has informed the MPs in writing.

Meanwhile, the Samagi Janabala wegaya and the Sri Lanka Freedom Party have decided not to support the proposal to remove Janaka Ratnayake from the post of chairman of the Public Utilities Commission.
