That was after she was produced before the Colombo Fort Magistrate Thilina Gamage's official residence last night.
The Computer Investigation Division of the CID had reported to the court that the suspect was arrested when she arrived at Katunayake Bandaranaike International Airport yesterday morning to leave for Singapore.
The CID told the court that the investigations started based on a complaint made by the Commissioner General of Buddhist Affairs to the Inspector General of Police, and accordingly, the suspect was arrested in accordance with the foreign travel ban obtained after reporting facts to the court.
The CID had reported to the court that this suspect had made a statement in a way that harmed, insulted and disrespected the Buddhist philosophy in a program called of 'Modabhimana', thereby causing displeasure and discord among the people.
