SriLankan Airlines flight UL181, originally scheduled to depart from Bandaranaike International Airport for Katmandu, Nepal, at 8:20 am on October 1 has been cancelled.

This cancellation was attributed to a mechanical issue affecting the aircraft.

The flight was expected to carry over 200 passengers.
