In a stunning display of dominance, the Colombo Strikers outclassed the Jaffna Kings by nine wickets at Colombo, fueled by Rahmanullah Gurbaz's explosive batting and Shadab Khan's formidable bowling.

Opting to field first after winning the toss, the Strikers' decision proved fruitful as they quickly dismantled the Kings' batting lineup. Binura Fernando struck early, dismissing Pathum Nissanka and Rilee Rossouw during the powerplay. Thisara Perera and Shadab Khan continued to wreak havoc, reducing the Kings to 49/6 by the ninth over. Shadab's brilliance with the ball was evident as he clinched four crucial wickets, finishing with impressive figures of 4/10 in his spell.

Despite a resilient effort from Eshan Malinga and Vijayakanth Viyaskanth, who stitched together a 34-run partnership, the Kings managed only 109/8 in their allotted 20 overs.

In response, Colombo Strikers began their chase aggressively, with Gurbaz and Angelo Perera setting the tone early. Though Perera fell early to Pramod Madushan, Gurbaz continued to dominate with a blistering half-century off just 30 balls. Supported by Muhammad Waseem's quickfire 35, Gurbaz guided the Strikers to a comfortable victory, reaching the target in just 9.5 overs.

Jaffna Kings: 109/8 in 20 overs (Vijayakanth Viyaskanth 25, Kusal Mendis 17; Shadab Khan 4/10)

Colombo Strikers: 112/1 in 9.5 overs (Rahmanullah Gurbaz 57, Muhammad Waseem 35; Pramod Madushan 1/26)
